RM642 - London Routemaster

RM642 is our 1960s London transport Routemaster, of which many others can still be seen on the streets of the capital. With a seating capacities of 56 it is ideal for any wedding being an Icon of everything British. In their stunning red and white paintwork they will stand out where ever they go!
*This vehicle is available for hire from the start of 2020 onwards. 

TTT781- AEC Regent V

TTT781 is a AEC Regent V built in 1956 for Devon General. It operated in Devon as the name suggests until it was withdrawn in 1968. The vehicle was then saved and was part of the West of England Transport Collection. The vehicle most recently had been with another heritage operator in the North East. This is a recent addition to the Wyvern Omnibus collection but be right at home.

JLJ401 - Leyland Tiger

JLJ401 is an ex Bournemouth Transport (and later Yellow Buses) Leyland Tiger PS2/3. She was built in 1949 for the Bournemouth Passenger Transport Authoirity.
*This vehicle is available for hire from the start of 2020 onwards. JLJ401 has spent much time operating for other heritage operators in the South West but was recently purchased by Confetti Wedding Cars who we have recently joined forces with. With a capacity of 31 this is perfect for smaller groups alongside KTC615.

KTC615 - Guy Arab 3

KTC615 is a Guy Arab 3 built in 1949 for Accrington Corportation. This beautiful bus has only recently joined the Wyvern Omnibus fleet having worked with another heritage operator in the North, with a capacity of 33 it is the perfect for smaller groups of people along side JLJ401.

KTT38P - Bristol LH


Our 1975 Bristol LH was purchased back in May 2015, KTT38P is a ECW bodied Bristol LH and was new to Devon General in 1975 and was the first vehicle in the Wyvern Omnibus fleet. While this has been a private vehicle up to now we have decided to make her available to hire. KTT38P is a little gem with seating enough for 44 passengers, she is ideal for day trips, proms, local tours and our speciality of wedding hire.

314PFM - Bristol FS


314PFM is a Bristol FS that was originally built for Crosville Motor Services in 1960. It was then absorbed into Western National. It was later sold and converted into a caravan and then back into a bus where it was sold on to a heritage operator near Colchester. It was then purchased by a private individual and has been lent to Wyvern Omnibus to use as an operating vehicle.

KEL110 - Leyland PD2

KEL110 was bought in early 2016 having been stood outdoors for some time. She is an ex Bournemouth Transport (and later Yellow Buses) Leyland Titan PD2/3. She was built in 1950 for the Bournemouth Passenger Transport Authoirity and still carries their crest on the sides. Her fleet number matches her registration number, i.e. 110.

KEL110 has been under going a massive restoration including the fitting of a reconditioned engine but still requires replacement window seals and new floor fittings on the upper deck. We hope that shortly KEL110 will be returning to the Wyvern Omnibus workshops to have the bodywork completed as well as remaining work to return it into our vintage private hire fleet.

GET666 - Dennis F12 

GET666 is the first vehicle to join the Wyvern Omnibus fleet that is not a bus! GET666 is a 1952 Dennis F12 Fire Engine. Which was transported by low loader to our workshops from Skegness. New to Rotherham Fire service she spent all of her working life there before retirement. Having then spent the next 40 years in a barn it was only earlier this year she saw the light of day again before being sold to a couple of different owners before being passed on to us. It is hoped that after a period of restoration that she will be available for hire at weddings. PYA272 - Dennis F12

PYA272 is the second Dennis F12 Fire Engine to join us at Wyvern Omnibus. New to Somerset Fire service she spent all of her working life there before retirement and then went into a reserve. PYA272 requires some minor mechanical work and a repaint and will be available for hire at weddings.

VSU334 - Leyland Hippo

VSU334 is a Leyland Hippo 10 ton lorry that was built in 1944 for the British army for carrying war goods across Britain and Europe towards the end of World War Two. After the war VSU334 remained in the army until it ended up in a reserve pool of vehicles. When this pool of vehicles was disbanded, VSU334 was brought from a scrapyard in Wolverhampton and transported to Hull where its restoration began. VSU334 came up for sale in 2017 and was purchased by ourselves where is transported back to our workshops where the restoration continues.
